Theatrical version of the novel “Fräulein Else” written by Arthur Schnitzler.
For one actress, 5 loudspeakers, live-electronics and tape.

In collaboration with director Karl Fromberger and actress Karolina Horster we created a stage version of the novel "Fräulein Else”. The basic concept was to have one actor on stage while the other characters were represented by processed recordings of the actor’s voice that were played back on three loudspeakers placed on stage. For this, I captured, edited and processed Karolina Horster’s voice and created a patch for sample playback, realtime effects and loudspeaker distribution. Two additional loudspeakers above the stage were used for ambient sounds and music playback.
